Are you interested in selling your royalty interest or working interest? Why wait for the accumulation of payments over time when you can take advantage of a lump sum cash payment from Slaton equivalent to many years of royalties up-front? Our process is always easy and straightforward.

Our Process

Whether you request an offer online or receive an offer from us by mail, our process is the same.  First, our team of experienced energy professionals diligently evaluates every aspect of the property, including the past production history, the volume and decline rates of current production and the future potential of production from any other known hydrocarbon reserve.  Fully understanding the property in this manner enables us to make fair and substantial purchase offers that will actually make sense to you - we won't just waste your time with insignificant offers like most other royalty acquisition companies do.

While you are considering our purchase offer, our goal is to educate you so that you can ultimately make the right decision for your family, estate, trust, or business - whatever that decision may be.  We understand that you may have questions or concerns during the decision making process, and we are here to help and provide any information you need, at any point.  Just contact us toll free at 1 (844) 4-SLATON or at  In some cases, you may prefer to sell only part of your mineral/royalty interest, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request if the partial interest is still within our acquisition parameters.

If you choose to accept our offer, closing is simple.  If we have already confirmed your title ownership, we will schedule the closing as soon as practical and convenient for you.  If not, it typically only takes 2-3 business days to verify title through public record searches online or at the county courthouse.  After confirming title, we will prepare a Mineral/Royalty Deed for the transaction. Depending on the purchase amount (and your preference), we may either wire the money to your bank, where you will sign and notarize the deed with your banker, or we can overnight you a cashier's check after we receive the notarized deed by mail.  Often times we also have agents in your area that can meet you at your convenience to deliver a certified check and notarize the deed for you.

And that's it!  At Slaton, we are constantly working to improve our processes in order to make every transaction convenient, transparent and beneficial for every client.
